BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS
The legal aspects of starting a company start long before it opens its doors to the public. We have assisted companies in all phases of their existence, from beginning to end. Some of our lawyers are currently participating in the Indiana University BEST program (Building Entrepreneurs in Software and Technology) with the School of Business and the School of Informatics. The program was started by one of the firm’s alumni. Through the program, participants have sponsored start-up companies by students who were selected after a competitive process. As well, members of the firm have worked with some of those companies as advisors.
Our areas of practice include selection of entity structure, contract and employment law issues, employee handbooks, litigation, dissolution, buy-sell agreements, collections and all aspects of business law.

“Me and two friends were induced by three landowners to invest in a land development deal. Unfortunately, our money disappeared and no development resulted and so we sued to get our money back. David partnered with a securities law attorney and they worked hand-in-glove as a tremendous combination. Us three co-plaintiffs were extremely happy with the way our lawsuit worked out in both results and speed. David combines great intelligence,hard-work,and a keen sense of humor. Great lawyer!

“I worked with Christine for several months in regards to an issue within my small-business start-up. In the end, I credit her for saving my business and working with me very effectively, efficiently, and with compassionate understanding. Her knowledge in the area was high, as was her problem-solving and communication. I would recommend Christine, and Ferguson Law to any local business. The service was above and beyond!”
